Breakin’ Convention is committed to the development of Hip Hop dance theatre across the UK and is building national partnerships to support the development of Hip Hop dance theatre and the artists that create it.  Breakin’ Convention HUBs bring together venues, organisations and dance agencies with the local Hip Hop dance community.  The Breakin’ Convention ethos, underpinned by shared values of collaboration and commitment to Hip Hop culture, will create a national network of centres of excellence dedicated to the development of Hip Hop dance theatre.  Breakin’ Convention HUBs launch in spring 2009 with a pilot phase.
